Principal Product Marketing Manager

SambaNova is a leader in next-generation AI infrastructure, delivering a full-stack inference platform for customers worldwide. At the core of SambaNova's technology is the RDU (Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit) — a chip built on a dataflow architecture rather than the traditional GPU model. Its decode performance is especially strong for agentic workloads like multi-turn agents, code generation, and long-running applications. RDUs are packaged into SambaRack, rack-scale hardware that lets customers deploy state-of-the-art models with better performance, greater energy efficiency, and faster time to value.

SambaNova is hiring a Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead product positioning, portfolio strategy, and sales enablement for SambaRack and SambaStack. This role will define how SambaNova presents its purpose-built AI infrastructure to the market, translate product differentiation into clear customer value, and equip the field with the narratives and tools needed to win.

About the Role

This is a principal-level product marketing role for an experienced strategist and hands-on creator who can move from market insight to a crisp product narrative, and from that narrative to the launches, messaging, presentations, one-pagers, competitive guidance, and training used across the go-to-market organization. You will own the market-facing strategy for SambaRack—the turnkey, rack-level system built around SambaNova RDUs for large-scale AI inference—and SambaStack—the full-stack enterprise AI platform that combines hardware and software for deployments on premises or through dedicated cloud hosting.

You will partner closely with Technical Product Marketing, Account Executives, and Field Marketing to turn technical proof, customer needs, and field insight into differentiated product messaging and scalable go-to-market execution. Technical Product Marketing will contribute deployment-oriented technical content and demonstrations, while you will own product and portfolio positioning, audience and use-case strategy, launch narratives, competitive differentiation, sales enablement, and consistent market execution.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning, messaging, value propositions, personas, priority use cases, packaging narratives, and competitive differentiation for SambaRack and SambaStack
• Define the portfolio story that connects purpose-built RDU hardware, rack-level infrastructure, full-stack software, model serving, and deployment flexibility into a clear customer value proposition
• Build differentiated messaging for enterprise AI teams, infrastructure leaders, data center operators, inference providers, sovereign AI initiatives, technical evaluators, partners, and the field
• Lead go-to-market strategy and launch planning for major SambaRack and SambaStack capabilities, working across Product, Engineering, Sales, Communications, Developer Relations, Partner Marketing, and Design
• Develop high-quality sales enablement, including pitch decks, solution presentations, one-pagers, battlecards, discovery guidance, objection handling, competitive plays, and executive-ready content
• Create market-facing content such as product briefs, web copy, launch assets, blogs, customer presentations, thought leadership, and solution narratives
• Partner with Technical Product Marketing to translate deployment experience, technical proof, and demonstrations into sharper positioning and more useful seller guidance
• Work with Account Executives and Field Marketing to refine product messaging around customer needs, activate it through field and regional programs, and build scalable enablement for customer conversations
• Equip sales, solutions, partners, and customer-facing teams with repeatable training and content; measure adoption and improve materials based on field feedback
• Lead market, customer, and competitive research to identify emerging needs, sharpen differentiation, inform roadmap discussions, and improve go-to-market priorities
• Build customer proof points, references, use cases, and stories that make SambaRack and SambaStack value concrete
• Establish messaging governance and reusable frameworks that keep product, sales, web, campaign, partner, developer, and executive narratives aligned
• Define success metrics for launches, enablement adoption, message pull-through, content usage, field readiness, and business impact

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, product strategy, technical product marketing, or a closely related role, including ownership of complex enterprise technology portfolios
• Deep fluency in AI infrastructure, enterprise AI, semiconductors, data center systems, cloud platforms, or another technically complex market
• A track record of creating differentiated positioning for integrated hardware-software products and translating it into launches, sales enablement, content, and measurable go-to-market outcomes
• Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and narrative-development skills across executive, business, field, and technical audiences
• Strong strategic judgment paired with a willingness to build the deck, write the one-pager, develop the battlecard, edit the web page, and deliver the training
• Experience influencing executive leaders and coordinating Product, Engineering, Technical Product Marketing, Account Executives, Field Marketing, Communications, Design, and partner stakeholders without direct authority
• Ability to operate independently, prioritize high-leverage work, and bring structure to ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience marketing AI inference platforms, accelerator systems, turnkey data center products, full-stack enterprise platforms, or cloud infrastructure
• Experience developing product and portfolio strategy across related hardware and software offerings
• Experience building a sales enablement program with measurable adoption, field readiness, and business impact
• Familiarity with enterprise buyers, infrastructure decision-makers, technical evaluators, inference providers, partner ecosystems, and managed-service use cases
• Experience leading category creation, a major product launch, competitive repositioning, or a portfolio-wide messaging transformation
• A portfolio of high-quality positioning, launch, enablement, thought-leadership, or product-marketing work
