Leadership seats are the highest-value searches and the earliest sign of a new function. A first Head of Sales at a research lab is commercialisation; a new VP Infrastructure at an application company is a compute build-out. This page shows five; members see every seat with the posted range and get them by email daily.
How it is computed
Every 6 hours the index reads the public job-board feeds of 286 AI companies (Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby), records each posting's first and last seen dates, and recomputes the week. Velocity compares the last 7 days with the company's own prior 4-week weekly average, so a small company posting 6 roles can rank above a large one posting 40. Leadership seats are matched on title (Head of, Director, VP, Chief, C-level) with individual-contributor titles such as Account Director excluded, and one seat posted in several cities counts once. Nothing is scraped from LinkedIn or self-reported.
