About This Role

As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical expert partnering with our sales team, helping accounting & finance leaders understand how Numeric solves their most complex accounting challenges. The product is moving fast, customers are getting more sophisticated, and the SE role is at the center of every major win.

We’re looking for someone with experience in technical selling to the OCFO and can hold their own with a Controller pushing back on the technical detail. This role is your path to owning bigger deals, shaping the playbooks the team runs on, and helping define what world-class presales looks like.

What you'll do

• Independently lead demos, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements across mid-market and select enterprise accounts
• Partner closely with Account Executives to develop technical win strategies and drive deals forward
• Build credibility with senior finance stakeholders including CFOs, Controllers, and FDs of Finance as a trusted domain expert
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product roadmap priorities. Partner closely with PMM and product to shape the future of the platform
• Develop and maintain reusable demo environments, technical collateral, and enablement materials for the broader tea

About You

• 3–5 years of total experience, with time as a Sales Engineer/Solution Consultant or Implementation Consultant at an ERP or FP&A platform (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, or Pigment), or time in an accounting & finance org with a passion for more customer-facing work
• Solid accounting and finance domain knowledge, with the ability to hold a credible conversation with a Controller or CFOs
• A track record of running demos, POCs, and discovery independently on deals of real complexity
• Based in the London

Nice To Haves

• Experience contributing to an SE function at a high-growth startup
• ACCA/CIMA or formal accounting background
• Familiarity with accounting close management or financial reporting workflows
