The HSE Team

The primary responsibility of the HSE Team is to protect employees, safeguard assets, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain operations through the development and implementation of policies, procedures, controls, training, and continuous improvement programs.

The management team will:

- Own safety on gigawatts of high-energy infrastructure, built from zero where headcount and sites are scaling faster than institutional knowledge can keep up.

- Keep a workforce running at full intensity 24/7 shift work, not sidelined by injury. By implementing programs to manage an environment that will foster fatigue and high-energy exposure risk on the manufacturing floor. .

- Establish and maintain environmental compliance ahead of the fastest build in the industry.

- This team will likely be responsible for multiple sites within and outside of Arizona, each with its own unique compliance requirements.

Role Scope

This role will have the following responsibilities and others as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive safety training - covering new hire orientation, annual refreshers, specialized certifications, and all required OSHA, equipment-specific, and site-specific programs - for a high-automation manufacturing workforce including employees, contractors, and supervisors.

- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps, high-risk tasks, and emerging hazards across operations, maintenance, engineering, and logistics.

- Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation, ensuring alignment with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ADOSH requirements, corporate standards, and audit expectations.

- Integrate training into operational changes, partnering with operations and engineering to support new equipment commissioning, process updates, and automation upgrades.

- Measure and improve training effectiveness, using observations, audits, quizzes, performance metrics, and incident learnings to strengthen workforce competency and safety culture.
