Sales Account Executive

About this role

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Account Executive to join our growth journey in Japan. In this role, you will be the strategic partner for our Japanese clients. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building relationships with new and existing clients in these markets.

🚀 We have a proven product market fit in the Japan market and are looking for someone to come in and grow our client base further. Together with a BDR you will be the first hires in the region supporting our efforts to expand our local presence.

What you will do

• Be THE strategic partner for our Japan customers
• Identify, negotiate, and close deals
• Identify and influence decision-makers and key stakeholders
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle through the engagement of appropriate resources such as Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing
• Become a DataSnipper product expert and use this knowledge to effectively guide customers toward their desired outcomes
• Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.

What you bring

• 2-5 years of experience as an Account Executive in software sales, with 1-2 years of prior experience as a BDR/SDR
• Experience building, and maintaining excellent relationships with accounts
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work effectively in an ever-changing scale-up environment
• Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to present to executives and key decision-makers
• Great interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Proactive mindset and excellent project and time management skills
• Comfortable working remotely at the start and willing to move into a hybrid position once the team grows
• Native in Japanese and fluency in English is a must
