THE ROLE

Assort Health is changing how health systems connect patients with care through AI. We’re hiring a Principal Agent Strategy Manager, Health Systems to lead our largest and most important healthcare partnerships.

You’ll work directly with executive, operational, clinical, and technology leaders to improve patient access and organizational performance. You’ll own complex relationships from launch through expansion while coordinating the teams responsible for delivering results.

This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful influence across our customers, product, and Agent Strategy team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Own Assort’s largest healthcare accounts across the full customer journey.

- Define outcomes, success measures, risks, growth opportunities, and plans for delivering ROI.

- Guide leaders through complex decisions about AI, patient access, and operations.

- Build alignment across executive, operational, clinical, and technology stakeholders.

- Coordinate governance, decisions, timelines, and workstreams across Assort and the customer.

- Protect retention, lead renewals, and identify meaningful expansion opportunities.

- Bring health system insights into product, implementation, and business decisions.

- Mentor other Agent Strategists and improve how the function supports healthcare customers.

- Travel up to 25% for executive meetings, presentations, and customer work.

WHAT YOU BRING

- 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years working in healthcare or health tech.

- Experience owning large, high-value accounts across adoption, retention, renewal, and expansion.

- Deep knowledge of healthcare operations, patient access, and how provider organizations make decisions.

- Strong executive communication and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

- Experience leading enterprise programs across multiple departments, workstreams, and senior leaders.

- Strong product aptitude, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn technical healthcare products quickly.

- The ability to influence without authority, mentor others, and improve how a team operates.

- Sound judgment, clear prioritization, and comfort making decisions with limited information.

NICE TO HAVES

- Experience helping customers adopt AI, automation, or other emerging technology.

- Experience building customer programs or operating processes from the ground up.

- Experience at an early-stage startup or rapidly growing company.
